2.2A EMERGENCY ORGANISATION ON BOARD
MV/MT -
ALARM: SEVEN (7) OR MORE BLASTS FOLLOWED BY ONE LONG BLAST
Note:
- 1. Above Organization shows the General Emergency Organisation for all those emergencies for which specific Muster List is not provided on board.
- 2. 3/O is the designated GMDSS officer in case of emergency with 2/O as his backup.
- 3. In case Master is disabled, the C/O shall take over the responsibilities.
- 4. C/E shall activate the Fixed Extinguishing System as directed by General Commander in case the need arises.
- 5. If the fire is found at deck, firefighting team 1 shall be main firefighting party, and if in the engine room, shall be firefighting team 2.
