1. APPLICATION

This document applies to all Masters and Senior Deck Officers onboard fully managed vessels.

2. PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to provide guidance for vessels for her arrival and stay in port.

Representatives of the local authorities must always receive the best possible treatment for clearance to take place without complications.

The best possible relationship on a pure business level to endeavour with ship chandlers, suppliers, and service company’s representatives.

Note:

If in doubt on any point, he must contact the agent, Vessel Manager, or the instructing party.

9.7 Testing of Ship’s Safety Systems

Warning:

No testing or ‘simulations’ of emergency generators, ODM’s, sewage plants, launching of lifeboats when the ship is loading or discharging.

Caution:

This can cause shutdown of essential machinery or can cause cargo operations interference, which could lead to accidents, pollution, delays, or other consequential incidents.
